The initiative aims to pass on traditional techniques to art academy students, instilling respect for materials and details, while also encouraging the excitement of research and the desire to experiment with new forms and languages. The Prize Jury evaluates the projects (this year there were over 110) submitted by students from Italian and international Academies, Universities, and Design Institutes, and selects the six works eligible for the internship at the company. The hands of master ceramicists guide those of the interns through a process where every detail matters, where craftsmanship becomes an art, and time is marked by the ancient rhythms of ceramics. It's a journey of artistic and technical growth, which brings new and stimulating creative energy to Rometti and enriches the world of contemporary ceramics.
